Dina was born in Forest Hills in Queens. New York. But she changed her location into Dix Hills on Long Island right before the end of her junior year. Dina Meyer is the sister of two brothers. Gregory is her elder brother and Evan is her younger brother. At the age of 9 till 16, she started working in the industry of entertainment via modelling. Her career in acting began in The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She studied the techniques of Sanford Meisner with Ron Stetson for three years. Other actors to receive such instruction include Sandra Bullock, Michael Douglas, Jeff Goldblum, Leslie Nielsen, Diane Keaton, as well as others. When she moved from Los Angeles, she got her first role in Beverly Hills, 90210. In the next couple of months, she was offered the role as Johnny Mnemonic. For this film, she was the one responsible of almost every stunt and proved herself to be an experienced actor. Through her agent who also manages Matt LeBlanc she scored a part as a guest on Friends.
