Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born in South London, England into a mixed family. Her mother and father have both been English. She was raised on a council estate in the south of London. When she was fourteen, she was enrolled at The Brit School. She was a student at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in which she earned an BA in acting. She performed in various performances on stage during her school days, including King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting career began with Storm Damage. She has appeared as a guest in Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film appearance was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), with Colin Farrell. After this success, Madekwe appeared as Elisha on the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and appeared in six episodes Trexx as well as Flipside. She played Bambi on the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe starred as the lead character on How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedic comedy released in 2008. Her credits in theatre include Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe made her US debut on the drama The Beautiful Life, which just aired two episodes on The CW before being cancelled. In February 2011, she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Following her appearance as a regular on the first two seasons it was announced in May 2013 that Madekwe would leave the show after a guest appearance in the first episode from the 3rd season. In the television series Salem in 2014, she portrayed Tituba in 2014 through 2016. In June 2012, Madekwe got married to her long-time partner actor Iddo Goldberg. They've worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also had a role alongside her in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, was raised in a large family in Hamilton, Ontario. Her family included the parents Roy and Patty together with four older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's brothers, who are all sportsmen, played baseball in summers and played hockey in winters. Ashley could never walk but she was able to dance. When she turned two-and-a-half she took up Baby Ballet and fell in the love. This was the beginning of Ashley's interest in dance. Ashley performed in competitive tap, jazz and ballet in high divisions. She was the top soloist in big competitions, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more were awarded to Ashley.
