Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling prior to making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and went on a 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round in each fight. Ladd returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen was first beaten by Silvia Babyghian prior to going to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 in which she took on Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen a unanimous defeat and outclassed her to tarnish Ladd's professional career. Ladd rebounded from her loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her career in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta eleven saw Aspen dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fc 16 was her first bout as a bantamweight. Aspen defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen utilized her formidable wrestling skills to take down McGill and then ended the fight with a third-round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen was then matched against Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy as a catchweight (138.1lb) due to the fact that Ladd didn't gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in second round with a TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina and then pounded her on the ground for a second-round TKO victory. Her dominance continued and she scored a more impressive win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd was victorious at the start of round one, and was awarded the performance of the Night Prize. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks in her debut fight. Ladd took home the fight of the night bonus, after both fighters had a fierce back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya after the third round in UFC at ESPN 7. Her most recent bout for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
