Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American singer and actress whose dramatic range earned her popular acclaim across a range of genres ranging from period drama to thrillers and action. Johansson grew up living in New York City as the daughter of an architect, and also an executive from a production firm. Her twin brother Hunter were the youngest siblings of four. At the age of seven years old, she started making auditions for TV commercials. Then she began her studies at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and then attended the Professional Children's School in Manhattan to further refine her skills. In the Off-Broadway production Sophistry she co-starred with Ethan Hawke. She then appeared in her first film with North (1994) which was produced by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson then appeared on screen in Just Cause, but she made her debut with Manny & Lo, a film about orphaned siblings who flee. In The Horse Whisperer, Johansson as a teen victim of a horrific accident. In Ghost World, her role Ghost World brought her more notoriety as the infamous teenager Rebecca. Award-winning actress was one of the leading actors on the show. She has a vast experience as a stage actress in addition to appearing in the show. She performed with stunning grace in Wildflower as well as other stage productions. Renee Felice Smith's journey in the world of entertainment started at a very young age. She was a performer since she was young. With the help of her parents Smith got her first acting gig in the age of 6. Smith was in a television commercial for Dannon yogurt. Like many actresses who are just starting out, to refine her abilities in the theatre. As she worked on other projects in the USA she also made her stage debut with Wildflower. She attended an institution called the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory, part of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
